Meeting Website

Meeting Website

On this website you can access the live stream as well all information relating to the meeting. The restricted areas on the meeting website can be accessed only by registered participants.

To access the restricted area of the site use the email address that you have used to register for the meeting. You also need the password, which has been communicated to you in the registration confirmation you received at that same email address. If you did not receive the email, please first check your spam folder as well. Note that your email can only be used once to log onto this website. We recommend therefore not forwarding login information to other people.

Plenary Sessions are live streamed in Vimeo. For polling and Q&A in these plenary sessions we use the app Slido. A QR code as well as an event code to access the correct meeting, can be found here on this page or alternatively you use this functionality on the livestream webpage itself.

Vimeo

Livestream Plenary Sessions

The livestream of our plenary sessions can be viewed on this very website and the platform is Vimeo. In principle for Vimeo nothing specific is required. It can be compared to YouTube; watching a video is click and play.

We highly recommend using full screen view for the plenary sessions and use the Slido app (see below for info) to ask your questions and vote on your mobile phone or tablet next to this.

If your institute firewalls Vimeo, it might be harder for you to access but there are ways around this. Also unfortunately a few governments censor/ block Vimeo (at this time: China, incl HongKong, Indonesia, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Sudan, Syria); generally however, participants do not have trouble accessing the stream if it is embedded in a website like ours. Please use below link to help you.

Q&A and polling in plenary sessions

You will have a choice to use the Slido app on the meeting website itself. We highly recommend however using the full screen view of the plenary livestream and participate in Q&A and voting via your phone or tablet. Either scan the QR code below or go to your app store to download the Slido app, which is free of charge. You then enter the event code as listed below to access the Lupus Academy meeting.
